Skans part of Silmo Paris 2025 'Good Eyes On The Planet' - Exhibition

This year SILMO Paris had a special exhibition “Good Eyes on the Planet” - a dedicated area highlighting sustainability and responsible innovation within the optical industry.

Created in collaboration with the CSR agency Hyssop, the exhibition presented practical examples of how companies are addressing environmental and social challenges across design, materials, production and social impact.

The exhibition demonstrated case studies from brands who are taking concrete steps to reduce environmental impact and inspire new business models for a more circular future.

Alongside other brands such as MYKITA, VANNI, NEUBAU Eyewear, Friendly Frenchy, and Andy Wolf, all pushing for positive change within the eyewear industry, Skans was proud to be part of this showcase. Skans presented its approach using a single material for circularity, producing on demand to minimize waste, and committing 2% of its revenue to social and environmental initiatives.
