At The International Eyewear Exhibition OPTI in Munich the 13th of January 2024, SKANS was awarded THE OPTI BOX AWARD - The Design Innovation Award for New Eyewear Brands of the Year!

"The innovative brand SKANS captured the expert panel's hearts with its commitment to sustainability. By integrating recycled metal into their production process without compromising functionality, SKANS also pledges 2% of its revenue to support environmental and social initiatives."

This year’s opti BOX AWARD winner combines classic with a new idea – which is: using recycled metal time and again for the production of spectacle frames.

These designs are timeless, eliminating any extra steps or features which are unnecessary.

The winners’ glasses have a proven functionality which fits perfectly to the classic concept.

The winner not only convinces with the use of recycled metal. They also pledge 2% of their sales to environmental and social initiatives. And they are a proud member of 1% for the planet organization.
